Seth Goodin, always has great words of wisdom and this one I really enjoy…
Some people want to do things because they are interesting.
Some people want to do things because they work.
Some people want to do things because everyone else is doing them.
And some people are satisfied/scared/shy/lazy and don’t do anything.
Think about blogging or buying a new pair of shoes or voting for a candidate or picking one career over another. Different people have very different agendas. The key in understanding someone’s actions is understanding their agenda.
That salesperson who does everything by the book is not interested in the thrill of discovery. That retired steel worker that is hesitating to vote for your candidate is wondering what everyone else is going to do. And that unpredictable blogger keeps changing the rules because the rules bore him.

Finding it hard to standout and separate yourself from the pack?
You’re not alone…
This is the biggest issue people have with online marketing. With the average consumer being exposed to over 3500 commercial messages daily (subliminal and non) no wonder it’s hard.
It’s this reason the success rate of internet marketing is the same as it is in network marketing.
Most Fail.
Over the past year I’ve been spending all of my efforts on teaching and coaching people on how to leverage the internet to build their business. How to position YOU as an expert to attract leads, attract distributors and therefore attract success. How to create massive circles of influence via automated sales funnels. I use to teach it offline in the form of posture, however it’s much easier to teach online posture than offline.
If there is one message that I have always preached since I started in network marketing- It’s this:
“Sell Yourself, Sell The Team – Let The Prospect Sell Themselves On Working With You And Being Apart Of Your Team” This they will do over and over again if they really see the BENEFIT in working with you.
In order to sell yourself you need to expose the prospect (on the internet) an average of 40 times before they will be enticed towards whatever you’re selling. (that’s A LOT!)
How the heck will you get your ad or sell yourself in front of the same person 40 times! AND how do you get your ad to be seen amongst all the 3500 other ads they are being hit with daily?!
Answer: you don’t.
You get invited and ASKED to do so.
People now a days are cocooned in their shells. They are doing their best to block out the ads they see everyday. This is why you must present a way to get invited into their cocoon aka, their world.
You need to learn how to create lists of people who are seeking information on how to achieve what you’re able to teach. What can you teach? Lots trust me, Thanks What We Teach! This list will become your circle of influence – your reach – people who allow (AND WANT) you to contact them 10, 20 and 100 times over the course of a few months.
Once you’re invited, 40 points of contact seems trivial. Especially if you learn to leverage social marketing into your world of branding and advertising.
Treat your circle with respect and honesty and always be a mentor who offers more value than you ever expect to receive in return.
With Respect,
